Original: Hanamaru. This is something used in Japanese primary schools/kindergarten, usually to reward children with good behaviour or do well in schoolworks
I purposefully twisted the words in this part. The original lyrics were “がむしゃらに シャドウボクシング”, which means “recklessly shadowboxing”. But I figured it would not really make sense to just leave the lyrics as it is.

(1)The original lyrics is exactly what it says - to follow the one to your right (migi ni narau). This is actually a real phrase commonly used in Japanese military, which means “follow the people around you”
(2)This one is tricky because the meaning was lost in translation. Mahiro sang “henkenjizai” (偏見自在) which could be roughly translated to “freely prejudiced” (自在 means freely, freedom or words of the same sort, and 偏見 means prejudice). However, a more commonly known phrase is “hengenjizai” (変幻自在) which means surrealism, and these two phrases sound very similar (wordplay), so I guess it’s part of his intention to slightly twist the words like this.
(3)Cease fire (or ceasefire) means a temporary suspension of fighting, typically one during which peace talks take place; a truce.
(4)Original: ネームバリュー This word refers to one person’s worth being determined by the prominence/values of factors such as the university they graduated from, the company they’re working for, etc. This is one of the biggest problems in Asian countries, especially when it comes to job hunting
